[RULES 01] || [RULES 02] || [RULES 03]
CBOX RULES
- No advertising. You may link to graphics/codes/etc. on resource sites like Caution, but do not, under any circumstances, link to another RP site in the cbox. Staff members from other sites specifically talking about affiliates may keep their site url in the name link.
- Keep chatspeak and swearing to a minimum. "Lol," "brb," etc. are fine, but no "u" or "l8tr" or anything like that; and you can swear, but just remember that we can have people as young as 13 on proboards.
- Similar to the swearing part above, proboards is PG13, so nothing overly graphic, etc.etc. Just be appropriate.
- Respect the staff. Even if you think we are asking something unreasonable, listen to us and move on. If you have a serious problem with a staff member in the cbox, drop it and go PM Tetris.
- Actually, respect everyone. Even if you don’t like them, you best be courteous in the cbox and at least greet them, make smalltalk, etc.
- Be helpful if guests pop in, but 1) don’t talk over staff if they are in the box, and 2) do not minimod, ever. Even if you have been a member since the beginning of the site, you don’t know everything, and cannot tell new members what they can or cannot do.
- Do not, under any circumstances, fight in the cbox. If a fight starts while staff are around, all people involved will be banned for a short amount of time, and will likely receive a PM from staff. If a fight happens when staff aren’t around (and we will be checking – the chat log goes back quite far), expect stern PMs at the very least, and further staff involvement as deemed necessary. If we absolutely must ban members from the cbox, or even get rid of the cbox because members cannot behave, we will. Hopefully this will never be necessary.
- Do not feed the UBDs. UBD stands for “Under Bridge Dweller,” just so we can be cool. (No, actually, Tetris stole it from Kittencam chats – which you should check out because it’s adorable – but I digress.) The best thing you can do with a UBD is to stop talking to them. Go do something else (like post!) and leave them to entertain themselves until staff can ban them and possibly delete their posts.
